Role of the School
Schools must provide staff who are committed to making the trip run smoothly as they have full responsibility for the safety and well being of the pupils 24 hours per day from the moment the pupils depart to the moment they arrive back home.
The school must also ensure that suitable pupils are chosen who can demonstrate the right behaviour and maturity.
We provide participating schools with support on recruiting and selecting suitable pupils, information sessions for accompanying staff, parents and pupils and model letters to collect the details and requirements prior to the trip.
Our partners are responsible for ensuring the programme runs according to plan and acting as your local guilde. They will support you with any questions or any issues that arise during the trips.
