The Language Alliance is lead and supported by an international network of people who are passionate about education and who recognise the power of language learning for enriching lives and increasing opportunities. We believe in establishing collaborative partnerships with key organisations who together with us can provide teachers and learners with the best in resources, opportunities and experiences.
Juliet Park is Director MFL at Yewlands Academy, Specialist Leader in Education and has a national profile in training, consultancy and resource writing from primary to A level. She is also a specialist in business languages for schools having worked previously in international sales and marketing. She is an accredited Lead Practitioner for the SSAT, was a regional advisor for ALL and works with key organisations e.g. SSAT, AQA, OCR, Institute of Linguists to deliver training, shape policy and develop of language qualifications.
She is a regular speaker at national conferences and was recently invited to present at the House of Lords on the future of language teaching in schools.
Andrew Park is Managing Director for The Language Alliance. He has a background in management in FMCG and plastics within the packaging sector. He has expertise in business process flow, databases, online management systems and project management. He manages the Language Alliance operations and contributes to the digital media creation.
Mark Neesam - Assistant Principal and subject leader for MFL. Formerly Head of a large Language College in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Experienced examiner of GCSE and NVQ and recognized by the Department for Education for work on bilingualism.
Sue Chapman - Experienced teacher primary to A level and vocational languages. Experienced examiner of GCSE and NVQ for French, Spanish and Italian.
Beverley Bitting - Experienced teacher of primary and secondary including vocational pathways. Experienced examiner of NVQ. Specialist in German.
